Finance Analyst III - Medicare

Position Purpose:
Conduct in-depth data and financial analysis, spearhead ad hoc projects, and lead recurring reports for the Medicare Finance team and other finance leaders by utilizing his/her strong technical skills.
In this Finance Analyst III role, you will:
- Conduct complex data analysis on both an ad hoc and a recurring basis
- Assist with the development of financial models based on projected membership results
- Develop new reports as well as updating pre-established reports, collaborating with finance leaders and internal stakeholders
- Identify key membership trends and summarize findings for finance partners and other stakeholders; Power BI and SQL experience preferred
- Contribute commentaries and insights into state/regional membership performance through data deep-dive; Advanced Excel skills required
- Research and pinpoint drivers of variances
- Present and discuss analysis with upper management
Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience. 4+ years of financial or data analysis experience. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
Preferred skills:
- Experience in managed care, specializing in financial analysis.
- Advanced SQL and Power BI knowledge.
- Excellent communication skills and a demonstrated ability to manage large volumes of data with exceptional attention to detail.

Pay Range: $68,700.00 - $123,700.00 per yearCentene offers a comprehensive benefits package including: competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law. Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives.
