Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Systems Manager to manage, support, and optimize our financial systems. This role will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of systems that support financial reporting, accounting, and planning. The Financial Systems Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our financial systems are aligned with business goals and industry best practices.

This role will pay a yearly salary of $140,000 to $160,000 and is bonus eligible.

Responsibilities

• System Administration & Maintenance
• Oversee daily administration, configuration, and support of core financial systems (e.g., ERP, EPM, AP, T&E, Close Management).
• Manage user roles, permissions, workflows, and customizations to ensure secure and efficient system access.
• Perform system updates, upgrades, and patches, and coordinate with IT for seamless integration with other enterprise systems.
• User Support & Training
• Act as the primary support contact for financial systems, addressing user issues, questions, and system errors.
• Develop and update training materials and conduct user training sessions to increase system proficiency.
• Assist in the onboarding of new users, ensuring they have the appropriate access and knowledge to use the systems effectively.
• Data Management & Integrity
• Ensure data quality and accuracy within financial systems by implementing best practices for data entry, validation, and reporting.
• Conduct regular data audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and industry regulations.
• Monitor data integration across systems, troubleshoot data discrepancies, and resolve any data-related issues.
• Process Optimization & System Enhancement
• Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to identify and implement process improvements.
• Develop and deploy custom workflows, reports, and dashboards to streamline business processes and enhance financial reporting.
• Recommend and implement configuration changes, automation, and integrations with other systems to improve operational efficiency.
• Reporting & Analytics
• Create and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and analytics to support business decision-making.
• Design custom reporting and data extracts to support periodic financial close, budgeting, forecasting, and other business activities.
• Project Management
• Contribute to financial systems projects, including new system implementations, upgrades, and integrations with other business tools.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors and consultants, to ensure project goals are met.
• Track project milestones, timelines, and resources to ensure successful project delivery within budget.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 6 years of experience in financial systems administration, with a strong understanding of financial processes and system workflows.
• Proficiency in managing ERP (NetSuite) and FP&A tools (Oracle EPM) is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of financial and accounting principles, including the financial close, budgeting, and reporting.
• Strong understanding of system configuration, customization, and workflow design.
• Proficient in reporting and data visualization, with experience using tools like Power BI or Tableau.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with a high attention to detail.
• Strong project management and communication skills, with an ability to work cross-functionally.

Preferred Certifications

• Certification in a relevant financial system (e.g., NetSuite Administrator)
• Professional certifications in finance or accounting (e.g., CPA, CFA) are a plus.
