Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated logistics specialist, fielder, trainer, and leader to serve as the Logistics Team Lead for the Natick contingent of a large U.S. Army contract headquartered at Fort Belvoir, VA. Application to this position includes pre-hire assessments in general cognition, technical aptitude, communication, and soft skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead a six-person, senior logistics team in executing the following requirements on behalf of the Fort Belvoir-stationed Program Manager and the Natick Site Lead:Â
- Provide senior-level logistics expertise for planning, programming and execution of fielding operations and development and conduct of new equipment trainingÂ
- Conduct strategic and campaign planning; prioritization of receiving organizations; development of an execution plan; management of stock levels; accountability of issued items; management of shortages; and preparation of and delivery of briefings to articulate the programÂ
- Interface and coordinate with ASAALT, AMC, Army Commands and receiving units for logistics and training requirementsÂ
- Establish and organize and direct work and coordinate efforts related to the planning, programming, and execution of the fielding operationsÂ
- Assist and coordinate staffing of Material Fielding Plans (MFP) and New Equipment Fielding Plans, total package fielding, and Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) trackingÂ
- Responsible for accurate input of all aspects of property accountability related to Materiel FieldingÂ
- Oversee successful fielding accomplishment of issuing equipment in accordance with approved Basis of Issue (BOI)Â
- Identify discrepancies or defects in products, manage fielding stations stock of product, and assist in resolving any issues or problems Soldiers have with equipmentÂ
- Establish, vet, and train Fielding Teams to conduct on-site activities associated with fielding equipmentÂ
- Plan and execute fielding site setup, fielding events, and pack up of equipment upon fielding event conclusionÂ
- Coordinate firing ranges to support NETÂ
- Plan and execute New Materiel In Briefs (NMIB) and New Equipment Training (NET)Â
- Coordinate displays for VIPsÂ
- Provide interface between Instructor Key Personnel Training (IKPT) and suppliers for the New Equipment Training (NET) Program of Instruction (POI)Â
- Provide oversight of execution of recurring training for fielded productsÂ
- Prepare reports and deliverables on team status and activitiesÂ
Requirements
- Bachelorâs Degree and greater than 10 years of relevant experience, or 15 years or more of relevant experienceÂ
- Current SECRET security clearance âŚ
