Description

ASC is seeking a Field Specialist - Fire Protection Sales. Primary sales are directed toward established distributors within the territory. Working under the direction of the Regional Sales Manager, the Field Specialist is provided the opportunity to learn or expand upon his/her knowledge of the water distribution industry and sales knowledge/strategies, all while earning a competitive base salary plus commissions.

How You Will Help

  • Excel at demand generation through professionally demonstrating expertise and solutions selling to achieve a sales target 
  • Build lasting relationships across a broad range of ASC-ES, contractor, distributor and industry constituents 
  • Select, demonstrate and promote the best ASC-ES product solutions for specific end user applications to various customers 
  • Work with distribution facing sales team in ASC-ES to assure sales closure, incremental product placement and achieve sales targets 
  • Develop new contractor and project prospects for the ASC-ES Pipeline 
  • Establish expertise and train key decision makers and users to ensure company-wide buy in for ASC-ES products 
  • Act as the front-line champion for the success of ASC-ES new product rollouts in your given expertise area 
  • Integrate into local trade organizations and associations to leverage contractor relationships for demand generation 
  • Be the product team’s eyes/ears about what is happening in the field from distributors, contractors and competition in your category of expertise 
  • Embrace, utilize and demonstrate fluency in sales technology such as CRM, Tableau and Dodge reporting 
  • Learn about the use of Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) tools and their relevance in selling at ASC-ES 
  • 80% Contractor / 10% Distribution / 5% Engineer / 5% Administrative 


What You Will Bring

  • Bachelor's degree, ideally in Business or Engineering 
  • At least 5 years outside sales experience, preferably within the Fire Protection industry 
  • Ability to travel up to 75% 
  • Fire Protection experience at the contractor level/NICET level certification 
  • Self-motivated and self-driven

Job Benefits

The base salary range for this position is $90,000 - $115,000.00 USD annually*.
