Job Description:
The role:
The Field Service Technician will support one of our divisions in a service role. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment at customer sites. The ideal candidate will have strong technical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
What you’ll do:
Primary Responsibilities:
Represent and perpetuate HydraFacial’s customer service values. This includes but is not limited to being punctual for appointments, communicating professionally with customers and other Hydrafacial employees, and following Hydrafacial guidelines for appropriate attire while working on-site at a customer’s location.
Travel to various (customer) sites to perform maintenance and repair on electro-mechanical devices, with virtually 100% of time being spent in the field.
Daily submission of complete and accurate data entry and documentation of service action and customer interaction. This includes but is not limited to field service tickets and ATP reports.
Support other internal operational teams and complete department projects, as needed. This includes peers, other members of the technical services department, engineering, and training and education.
Provide feedback and participate in procedure/process improvements
Complete and process various service requests and orders
Participate in new-hire training, sharing your time, expertise, and learnings with others that join the team
Performs other duties as assigned
What you need to know:
Experience/Skills/Education:
Required:
High School Diploma/equivalent
3-5 years of previous experience in technical field service, technical support, electro-mechanical device manufacturing. Experience related to IOT / connected devices considered an asset.
Familiar with various computer operating systems / software / applications. Not just in devices you have or may support, but also those you will use to complete your job daily. Outlook, Salesforce, Adobe Acrobat, and Concur, for example, are all with which you should have familiarity.
