We’re on the lookout for a skilled Field Service Technician to help keep our gaming systems running smoothly at client locations. As a Field Service Technician, you’ll be part of a team that brings cutting-edge bingo technology to life. From installing and troubleshooting systems to training clients and maintaining records, you’ll play a key role in making sure our gaming products deliver exceptional experiences. And yes, there’s a lot of travel and exciting challenges along the way!** Mainly servicing the Western NY region, with support provided in nearby areas as needed.**
What You'll Be Doing:
- Installation & Setup: Deploy and configure gaming systems like CHAMP-e Tablets, PowerPlay Bel Air Consoles, OMNI Rover POS systems, and Bingo Server infrastructure at various client sites.
- Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Be the go-to expert for diagnosing and fixing hardware/software issues related to bingo servers, POS systems, administrative PCs, and more.
- Customer Training & Support: Help clients understand system usage, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance through on-site training.
- Documentation: Keep detailed service records, logging repairs, part replacements, and software updates to ensure everything stays on track.
- Collaboration: Work with internal technical teams to escalate issues and contribute to product improvements.
- Bingo Servers & Desks: Manage server components and equipment that run the show!
- POS & Admin PCs: Handle transaction systems and the back-end functions.
- Handsets & Tablets: Help players enjoy gaming with everything from classic handsets to modern tablets.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:
- Education: High school diploma required; technical certifications in electronics, IT, or networking are a plus.
- Experience: Previous experience as a Field Technician (electronic gaming or AV technology preferred).
- Technical Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and repair electronic equipment, with knowledge of POS systems and networking.
- Communication: Ability to explain tech concepts in a clear, user-friendly way.
- Flexibility & Travel: Willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and travel frequently (sometimes on short notice).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in dynamic environments like gaming floors.

The compensation for this role considers a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential for the location at which the position may ultimately be filled. At Everi, it is not typical for all individuals to be hired at or near the end of the range; compensation decisions depend on each case’s facts and circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $26 - $30/per hour and is overtime eligible.
