Arjo is selectivel seeking a Field Service Technician to provide preventative maintenance and repair on Arjo medical equipment in our facilities in Doraville, GA and Montgomery, AL. This role requires an understanding of mechanical and electrical systems and experience with the tools and processes required to complete the work.
Residing in either the Doraville and Montgomery area, you will split your time between these 2 Arjo facilities and should expect approximately 50% overnight travel. An Arjo vehicle will be provided and all travel paid by the company.
Day-to-day functions include the following:
- Preventative maintenance, repair services, installations, upgrades; mostly working at Arjo’s Service Centers in Montgomery, AL and Doraville, GA, with occasional on-site customer visits at local hospitals.
- Assess, provide cost estimates, and complete repairs for Arjo-owned and customer-owned medical equipment.
- Comply with all health and safety codes and procedures as mandated by company policy, customer requirements, and regulatory agencies.
- Ensure reports are completed accurately and submitted within required deadlines
- Manage parts inventory.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate’s Degree in an electrical/mechanical discipline or suitable repair and maintenance experience with electrical equipment; and/or 3+ years’ experience in a technical, repair, or maintenance related field.
- Electrical and mechanical assembly, repair, or maintenance; training and/or certifications preferred
- Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical schematics.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
- Ability and willingness to travel (mostly driving). Approximately 50% overnight travel.
- Ability to move medical equipment, including ability to lift up to 30 pounds and push/pull heavy objects using up to 70 pounds of force
