As a Dedicated Onsite Field Service Engineer for Agilent, you will work at a specific customer site, so having an appetite for building customer relationships, continuously learning about lab operations, new instruments, software and consumables is key. Applying your communication skills, creativity and can-do attitude is essential. The ability to help with solving customer problems and a commitment to deliver the highest-levels of customer service is how you will build customer success.

  • Responsible for supporting customers through on-site activities such as installation, implementation, maintenance and repair of company and multi-vendor systems solutions which may include hardware, software and networking products as well as operating systems.

  • Installs and optimizes hardware/software/network products and configurations at customer sites.

  • Diagnoses and resolves product performance problems.

  • Performs maintenance and repair services.

  • Ensures customer satisfaction by advising customers on preventive maintenance and configurations, which may impact product performance.

  • Proactively responds to potential equipment or software issues to prevent unplanned interruption of customers' business.

  • Delivers (does not design) fully integrated solutions, which may include peripherals, communications, operating systems and applications software.

  • Serves as an internal resource on technical issues and manages product escalations Collaborates with Agilent teams such as Support, Sales, Marketing and R&D to provide solutions to customers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree, College Degree, or equivalent experience.

  • Experience in spectroscopy instruments is required. Experience with ICP is preferred. Laboratory experience is a pre-requisite. Troubleshooting experience is valuable.

  • 2+ years relevant experience.

The Canada pay range for this full-time position is  63,200.00 – 98,750.00  /yr CAD, plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum new hire pay for the position across the relevant Canada locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
