The Field Service Engineer for Cytiva is responsible for supporting revenue growth by identifying and submitting qualified leads, while maintaining relationships and representing Cytiva while at customer sites. The FSE will perform work on customer instruments while following all EHS & Quality procedures. This position requires flying and/or driving travel, which may potentially include up to 50% overnight stays. Travel will primarily be domestic but may occasionally be international. Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
This position is part of the Biotechnology Integrated Solutions organization and will be field based with travel. At Cytiva, our vision is to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.
What you will do:
- Perform installation, qualification, routine maintenance, and repairs of instruments at customer sites
- Responsible for administrative tasks of scheduling service, completing documentation, and maintaining inventory
- Engage as part of a wider customer facing team including but not limited to Customer Care, Service Sales, and Account Managers
Who you are:
- Background in Biomedical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, Automation, Electronics, or any related STEM experience. This can come from a Bachelor's degree, Associate’s degree, military experience, or an equivalent technical education or professional experience.
- Working knowledge of calibrated tools, hand tools, and power tools
- Outstanding communication skills (verbal & written) and ability to provide an exceptional internal or external customer experience
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
