The Field Marketing Manager plays a key role in building, developing and executing our business strategy for the Enterprise strategic book of business. Our ideal candidate thrives on infusing creativity and innovation into strategic marketing programs in order to drive lead generation, ABM programs, nurture existing prospects, and engage current customers throughout the entire funnel. This role will collaborate across the org working closely with other marketing teams to activate campaigns across the sales organization, while also creating curated campaigns that support our sales segments and create pipeline for the business.  The Field Marketing Manager collaborates closely across marketing, sales, and SDR teams for a fully integrated approach.  They sweat the details on managing in-person events, leading acceleration programs, and are constantly partnering with the sales organization to share best practices, learnings and areas of shared success on a regular basis.

What you’ll do

  • Develop localized field marketing plans for North America’s Strategic Enterprise accounts, utilizing and maximizing all elements of the marketing mix directed towards meeting the goals, objectives and priorities for each segment of the sales organization.
  • Lead the creation, strategy, execution, and optimization of campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, email, and events, and use a data-driven approach to achieve sales goals
  • Monitor campaign performance, analyze results, and optimize efforts using key performance indicators (KPIs) such as account engagement, pipeline velocity, and revenue growth.
  • Work closely with sales, content and campaign managers, and product teams to align messaging, create targeted content, and develop strategies that resonate with specific accounts to build integrated campaign motions.
  • Partner closely with sales and BDRs to create a cohesive outbound strategy with aligned ownership of programs, KPIs and pipeline goals.  Gather insights on accounts, industries, and trends to inform marketing strategies and sales outreach efforts.
  • Collaborate effectively with the Marketing and Sales teams to ensure that our events and programs are successful, and that all prospects and clients are receiving an on-brand, best-in-industry experience regardless of how they interact with our programs.
  • Travel to events to oversee on-site execution and conduct site inspections as needed

What you’ll bring

You’re a true partner to our sales org and work closely across the marketing and operations teams to design programs, processes and enablement that feed our funnel and create an effective customer buying journey.  You’re a big thinker who sweats the details and constantly tests and optimizes your strategy to drive value for the business. 

The minimum qualifications for this role include:

  • 6+ years B2B field marketing, demand generation, or integrated campaign role
  • Experience in Account Based Marketing for the Enterprise B2B space
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve results working cross-functionally with a pipeline and revenue focused point of view.
  • Comfortable and flexible in a fast changing environment with a “quick start” mentality and high production output, with the ability to work independently, as part of a team, and as a leader.

Preferred qualifications for this role include:

  • Familiarity with ABM tools like 6sense, Marketo automation workflows and Account, Contact, and Opportunity insights via Salesforce.
  • Knowledge of long sales cycles and how to deploy marketing tactics over time to nurture leads, drive adoption, and accelerate growth

  • Prior experience running executive meetings and executive engagements

How you’ll grow

Within 1 month, you’ll plant your roots, including:

  • Completing  Sprout’s New Hire training program alongside other Sprout team members. You’ll gain a broader understanding of our product and how you fit in the organization.
  • Partnering with your manager to define key success metrics for your role and how you will measure against them.
  • Conducting initial 1:1s with employees and managers and other key strategic partners throughout the company to identify what a successful Marketing relationship looks like and how you will work together. Learning our market messages, product story, value propositions and ideal customer profile
  • Building relationships with your counterparts in sales and marketing
  • Training and education on our martech tools, project management processes and team rituals so you have the right foundations to be successful. 
  • Strong comprehension of ABM strategy as it stands today

Within 3 months, you’ll start hitting your stride by:

  • Applying a research and industry-trend informed POV on how to uplevel and evolve our market stories for our Enterprise audiences
  • Piloting your initial Enterprise initiative plans by turning new and existing content and messages into impactful go-to-market materials.
  • Working across Marketing and Sales Ops to determine how best to measure and report on program outcomes

Within 6 months, you’ll be making a clear impact through:

  • Becoming an engrained member of our cross-functional strategy teams building plans and programs to accelerate our BDR outbounding efforts, pipeline attribution models and cross-functional campaign planning. 
  • Constantly evolving your Enterprise marketing strategy as you roll out best in class ABM programs - adding in personalized experiential moments, engaging content, and creative digital outreach. 
  • Regularly updating and iterating on a cohesive go to market strategy with your aligned sales counterparts with regular check ins on campaign performance, growth opportunities and program roadmaps. 
  • Suggesting new tools, processes and ways to improve efficiency of programs
  • Designing bespoke, high touch 1:few and 1:many marketing plans for strategic accounts to drive executive level relationships and pipeline for the business. 

Within 12 months, you’ll make this role your own by:

  • Being the subject matter expert on our Enterprise audience in order to inform and influence the strategies of our enablement, product and go to market counterparts. 
  • Expanding your marketing strategy to include programs aligned to Enterprise personas, industry and use cases.

Individual base pay is based on various factors, including work location, relevant experience and skills, the responsibility of the role, and job duties/requirements. In the United States, we have two geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires are:

  • Zone 1 (New York, California, Washington): $113,520.00(min), $141,900.00 (mid), $170,280.00 (max) USD annually
  • Zone 2 (All other US states): $103,200.00(min), $129,000.00 (mid), $154,800.00 (max) USD annually

The listed ranges represent the full earning potential in this position. Starting salaries for well-qualified new hires are typically around the midpoint of the range. These ranges were determined by a market-based compensation approach; we used data from trusted third-party compensation sources to set equitable, consistent, and competitive ranges. We also evaluate compensation bi-annually, identify any changes in the market and make adjustments to our ranges and existing employee compensation as needed.

Base pay is only one element of an employee's total compensation at Sprout. Every Sprout team member has an opportunity to receive restricted stock units (RSUs) under Sprout’s equity plan. Employees (and their dependents) are covered by medical, dental, vision, basic life, accidental death, and dismemberment insurance, and Modern Health (a wellness benefit).  Employees are able to enroll in Sprout’s company’s 401k plan, in which Sprout will match 50% of your contributions up to 6% with a maximum contribution. Sprout offers “Flexible Paid Time Off” and ten paid holidays.
