What will you do at Presence? 

We are a dual-sided business and this role will support both our business priorities to become a preferred partner to school districts across the country and become an employer of choice for clinicians looking to expand their careers in teletherapy. This person will plan, create, and execute events and conferences that create brand awareness and drive leads for our sales and recruiting teams. They will manage all aspects of our conference execution including booth execution, sponsorships, presentations, and social gatherings surrounding the events.

We are a goal-focused organization and are searching for an individual who can manage our budget to creatively optimize our return on investment in lockstep with marketing, revenue and recruiting leaders.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Set goals and define metrics for each conference including lead acquisition and pipeline generation. Monitor conference metrics, conduct post-event evaluations, analyze and report on results, and make recommendations for future improvements
  • Establish campaigns within Salesforce and Cvent to accurately track and manage all leads generated and enable post-conference reviews
  • Work with the Provider Recruiting, Revenue, and Marketing teams to set an annual conference strategy based on capacity and market awareness needs, evaluating what has worked in the past and identifying new conferences with high potential
  • Design event-specific plans for driving traffic to the booth that includes giveaways, booth engagement activities, and supporting digital communications
  • Build relationships with key national associations and industry leaders to negotiate contracts, leverage marketing opportunities, and better reach their members
  • Oversee contract development and all related deliverables for all conferences and associations
  • Conduct pre-planning and training sessions with the booth staff before each conference
  • Organize private social gatherings at or in conjunction with targeted conferences for onsite teams to host current and potential new leads
  • Manage all printing, fulfillment, and inventory management of our conference materials with our external warehouse partner, including tracking and management of shipments
  • Collaborate with the Creative and the Performance & Growth marketing teams on event execution and sponsorship deliverables
  • Ensure resources are in place for Revenue and Recruiting teams to conduct timely, strategic lead follow-up post-events
  • Aim to raise awareness for teletherapy by managing Presence’s submissions for presentations at key conferences; partner with the Revenue, Clinical, and Communications teams  to identify potential topics and presenters and lead the submission process
  • Monitor industry and competitor event marketing trends; keep Presence’s event strategy relevant, innovative, and competitive
  • Closely manage all financial aspects of these events, optimizing toward the  highest return efforts

What we're looking for?

  • 5+ years of experience in sales or marketing, with at least 2+ years in the event and conference marketing space 
  • Experience with Google suite of tools required; Salesforce and Cvent experience preferred
  • Detail-oriented, with excellent financial acumen, relationship-building, and negotiating skills
  • Ability to meet significant travel requirements (up to 50%)

An employee’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, and market conditions.

Salary range is $100,000.00-$110,000.00

Where is this position located?

  • Presence is headquartered in New York City, with our clients located throughout the U.S. 
  • This position reports directly to the Director of Performance and Growth Marketing 
  • This is a remote work role for individuals based within the U.S.
  • All employees commit to be available on-camera for our Core Working Hours noon-5 pm EST M-F.
  • Standard business operating hours are 9 am-6 pm in the employees' respective time zone
