Location: Must be located in New York/Northern New Jersey to be considered (Local Travel in Westchester County, Brooklyn, The Bronx, Manhattan, Queens, and Staten Island)Ā

To support our growth, we are currently seeking a Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) Inspection Specialist to join our energy efficiency team located in New York State. The selected candidate will coordinate all quality assurance activities, which include, but may not be limited to, conducting post installation field inspections at residential facilities. In addition, they will assist with the development and implementation of QA/QC programs, plans, and procedures. They will also conduct QA investigations of program contractors, coordinate corrective actions, and maintain QA records using Sightline.Ā

What you will be doing:Ā
- Performing installation inspections and energy savings calculations HVAC system assessment, operations, and maintenanceĀ
- Interacting with home owners, contractors, builders, raters, representatives, and other key stakeholdersĀ
- Coordination of Quality Assurance activities such as completing inspection reports, coordinating with utility QA/QC teams, and facilitating communication with contractorsĀ
- Must have a reliable vehicle for local travel. Requirements are up to 75% local travel within New York. (reimbursement for mileage provided)Ā
What we need you to have (minimum qualifications):Ā
- Bachelorās Degree in Engineering, Energy Efficiency, Environmental Sciences or related field (or applicants can substitute one year of related experience for one year of education) Ā
- 2+ years in utility, energy efficiency, HVAC and/or related work experience
- Must have valid driverās license and successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) checkĀ
- Able to lift boxes no heavier than 30 pounds, climbing stairs and ladders, driving, walking, standing, above head arm movementsĀ
What we would like you to have:Ā
- BPI Analyst certification or HERS Rater certificationĀ
- Knowledge of energy efficient technologies and practices related to HVAC systems and overall residential building energy technologies or experience in the building tradesĀ
