Events are a crucial part of Butter’s demand and GTM strategy. We’re looking for a skilled event manager to plan dynamic and engaging events to support and drive company revenue goals and customer advocacy. The ideal candidate is meticulous and organized. They will be able to coordinate multiple moving parts under pressure and ensure that any last-minute changes or obstacles are handled with minimal disruption. Above all, they will bring a strong sense of our organization’s needs and how events fit into our broader communications strategy.

What you can expect to do

  • Strategize, plan, and coordinate company events (e.g., Industry trade shows, hosted field events, and partner events) to generate high-quality interactions, create net new sales opportunities, accelerate existing opportunities, deepen customer relationships, and increase brand awareness
  • Develop reports and presentations to effectively communicate progress and results.
  • Plan and execute events for internal and external purposesDevelop field marketing plans, including attendee acquisition strategies, event execution, and post-event follow-up to maximize ROI.
  • Execute the entire event from promotion, attendee acquisition, to follow-up. Work closely with the Sales and Business Development functions on pre- and post-event communications.
  • Trade Show management for national and international shows includes venue selection, contract negotiation, speaker management, invitees, logistics, AV & set up, registration, email blasts, swag requests, etc.
  • Engage with our partners to ensure they are enabled and empowered to successfully market our products.
  • Ensure our partner programs are properly aligned with our overall objectives and leverage data and analytics to measure performance and optimize results.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and on budget.Perform enablement and optimization tasks to ensure our campaigns are performing optimally.

Minimum qualifications

  • 5+ years of channel marketing, partner enablement, field marketing or related roles in the technology industry.
  • Events and/or conference management experienceDemonstrated success in developing and managing successful marketing campaigns.
  • Experience developing relationships with partners and enabling them to successfully market products.
  • Strong knowledge of performance metrics and data analytics.
  • Deep understanding of Google enablement best practices and experience implementing Google-centric marketing initiatives.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Butter is well funded by leading investors and offers a competitive benefits package including unlimited PTO, 401k, and comprehensive health insurance.
