Your role and responsibilities 

You will:

  • influence and shape the delivery and promotion of the national programme for Reducing Parental Conflict (RPC) in Suffolk. 
  • be working from a combination of, office based/ working remotely from home/ and travelling the County engaging with managers and teams in both Family Support and Social Care, as well as partners in schools, health and the voluntary sector. Your assigned office base will be Endeavour House, Ipswich. 
  • lead the Family Support and Social Care services to develop our practice, processes and systems to improve the way we deliver interventions to families for RPC. Then to be able to measure the impacts that the new ways of delivery have achieved via an evaluation
  • be responsible for co-ordinating the on-going training programme for RPC and the associated training in Triple P Enhanced (support for practitioners) and Triple P transitions, You me and Baby too
  • ensure that all the current staff that are and have been trained, deliver training to Families and other professional staff in all agencies.
  • be required to complete the Quarterly Management information returns to Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).

Your time will be split between the Workforce development team, responsible for the co-ordination of reducing parental conflict programme in Suffolk, Operational teams and the Multi-Agency safeguarding Hub (MASH), where you will provide advice and guidance on RPC to other professionals and families that may not meet the threshold of Child Protection (CP), Child In Need (CIN) and Family Support. 

There is scope to develop the role and the delivery of RPC support. 

You will need to be a suitably skilled, experienced practitioner to lead the operational and practice changes needed to ensure Family Support, Social Care, school, health and voluntary sector practitioners are well placed to help families deal with issues of Reducing Parental Conflict.
