Position Summary

The Executive Director, Information Technology Infrastructure will lead the development of strategic plans, roadmaps and ensure effective execution of Infrastructure Services for the global organization. This role will be responsible for all aspects of technical, operational, and service delivery of ITT’s IT infrastructure including but not limited to: Data Center Operations, Telecommunications, Hosting Services, End User Services, Identity Management, Messaging, Disaster Recovery on a global basis.

 

You must be able to evaluate business needs, industry requirements, and vendor roadmaps as a business leader that strives to leverage technology in an efficient manner. You will ensure that technology and solutions are identified, prioritized, designed, implemented, and maintained in a manner that is focused on addressing and enhancing business performance / needs first, in a planful and deliberate manner. This is a key role responsible for envisioning, recommending, and facilitating business changes to ensure a highly secure and highly available service offering for internal and external customers. Leading the organizational transformation as a business partner, this leader will drive notable change management efforts at all levels of the organization – including but not limited to staffing, project intake, prioritization, delivery and most importantly how we engage with our stakeholders at all phases of the service delivery lifecycle.

 

This leader will ensure that all services and the related service delivery is highly scalable and executed in a repeatable and measurable manner across all aspects of their team (people, process, and technology). This individual will be highly driven (“high motor”), able to balance active priorities, be meticulous and planful. In this role, you must be comfortable addressing ambiguity, able to consistently deliver results, be naturally curious and highly accountable, and approach situations in a thoughtful and process-oriented manner. You will be able to identify opportunities that enable continuous business process improvement, leveraging information technology to automate and streamline a wide array of business processes from sales to manufacturing operations. This role reports to the Vice-President and Chief Information Officer.

Essential Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies that enable best in class service delivery, cost control & new capabilities • Manage daily operations and service delivery for all infrastructure activities globally• Establish global standards for all in scope technologies and related services• Lead the creation of repeatable, closed loop processes that govern how services are delivered & maintained• Guide procurement and provisioning of all hardware and software• Ensure service delivery processes and all technology configurations support strict cyber security best practices• Work with the business to understand the needs and establish IT strategies that enable business growth and improve business process efficiency and sustainability • Perform due diligence activities to create solid estimates of costs, risk, synergies, and timelines for integration of potential acquired companies• Lead and actively participate in solution design activities relates to implementing and improving cyber security posture across the breadth and depth of IT solutions and services• Lead the creation and execution of Transition Service Agreements (TSAs) for divested entities• Lead the execution of M&A activities relating to infrastructure integration• Negotiate and manage enterprise level contracts with all vendors• Create and execute software and service strategies needed to support the appropriate infrastructure components including email, network, cloud services, host monitoring, patch management, etc.• Design and execute projects related to regulatory frameworks such as SOX, CMMC, GDPR, TISAX, etc. • Track record of managing, developing and cultivating high performing teams at all levels of their organization• Think and act as a change management leader to augment the status quo; drive standards and improve customer service and efficiency • Recognize and identify potential areas where existing policies and procedures require change, or where new ones need to be developed, especially regarding future business expansion

Position Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in leadership of large-scale systems planning, analysis, design, and implementation projects• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, MBA preferred• Confident self-starter who is driven, highly accountable, results-oriented and passionate toward fulfilling expectations for meaningful business outcomes.• Strong background in detail-oriented portfolio, program and project management• Ability to and comfort with ensuring that teams are managing to measurable project / task plans• High level of curiosity to pressure test solutions, approaches and execution plans to ensure that all aspects of solution design and service delivery are accounted for, including but not limited to user impact, business process changes, cost (one-time and ongoing), level of organizational change management needs, gaps/impacts instituted or perpetuated, staff skills and ability (current and needed), etc.• Experience leading support for multiple operating systems, hardware types and network topographies• Passion for customer service. Highly motivated and responsive to the business needs; a strong team player across the business functions and within the IT teams• Experience with advanced management techniques and practices including career management, budgeting, planning, analysis, and reporting• Expert managerial competencies including leadership, perseverance, strong communication skills, influencing skills, problem solving, customer focus, team building, interpersonal astuteness, vision, and strategic planning• Technical competence in both infrastructure and application development/deployment projects• Demonstrated ability to understand and leverage technologies to meet business requirements

The salary offered to a candidate is based several factors such as candidate experience and qualifications, location, as well as market and business considerations.
