The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As part of the Executive Communications team, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Supporting the execution of executive communications strategies for the MedSurg Americas business.
- Assist in writing, editing, and proofreading various communications materials, including newsletters, press releases, and employee experience platform elements.
- Coordinate the planning and execution of events including Town Halls and leadership meetings.
- Help identify key objectives, tactics, and success measures applicable to the MedSurg and Global communications plans, including thought leadership, employee engagement, channel and content strategy.
- Provide support to the MedSurg Executive Communications leader and Global Communications organization by coordinating efforts with HR, Media, and international communications colleagues.
- Assist in gathering information and preparing materials to support senior leaders on communications elements, change management, brand strategy, and employee engagement.
- Ensure all communications materials align with Solventum’s branding guidelines and messaging strategy.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) AND seven (7) years of experience in Corporate Communications, Public Relations, or PR/Marketing Agency with leadership accounts, in a private, public, government or military environment
OR
- High School Diploma/GED AND eleven (11) years of experience in Corporate Communications, Public Relations, or PR/Marketing Agency with leadership accounts, in a private, public, government or military environment
- Experience working in medical device or regulated industry.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Degree in public relations, communications, or journalism/media from an accredited institution
- Proven skills in key message development, content planning, and outcome-based measurement.
- Strong collaboration skills and experience with a highly matrixed, global organization
- Exceptional writing, editing, narrative development, and key message delivery
- Modern communications measurement, data analysis and synthesis, critical thinking, and creative problem solving
- Intellectual curiosity, creativity, growth mindset, managing through change, ambiguity, empathy, and systems thinking
Work location: Remote
Travel: May include up to 40% domestic or international travel

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $137,439 - $167,981, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
