Salary Range:

$16.00 - $22.00 USD hourly.

The Exceptional Programs Registrar is responsible for maintaining student registration reporting/reconciliation records within the student information system and collaborates with attendance staff on state reporting information in the form of daily reports and weekly and monthly trends. The Registrar will process student enrollments, transfers, and withdrawals and support attendance functions and reporting for students.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalency; Associate’s Degree preferred 
  • 1-3  years of experience working with student information system data, reconciling and troubleshooting, and maintaining student records; experience with Infinite Campus and IEPPro is a plus
  • Ability to speak, read, and write in Spanish, preferred but not required
  • Active AZ Department of Public Safety (DPS) IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
  • Any equivalent combination of experience, training and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities may be considered. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manages all student information as required by the Arizona Department of Education (ADE); as well as for national and international private school students. 
  • Adheres to policies and procedures relating to the management of student information.
  • Supports Arizona State Reporting processes such as, but not limited to, resolving reporting errors and data analysis.
  • Maintains student information system, creates student profiles, and prepares monthly reports. 
  • Processes student enrollment, transfers, and withdrawals for all SPED and 504 students
  • Maintains student Exceptional Programs folders and ensures all audit requirements are met
  • Assists with policies and procedures relating to the management of student information 
  • Collaborates with the Network Office to perform compliance structures and assists with annual financial audits
  • Request all SPED and 504 records as needed for incoming and exiting students
  • Complies with local, state, and federal policies and Office of Civil Rights policies regarding enrollment of students.
  • Collect information from students and parents when needed, maintaining confidentiality. 
  • Organized self-starter who prioritizes work and is dependable. 
  • Analyzes and identifies issues and potential risks to the organization, develops alternative solutions, and recommends and implements an effective course of action while exercising good judgment and commitment to fairness and honesty. 
  • Participate in both online and in-person events and activities.
  • Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.

  • Ability to use a personal computer and software to develop spreadsheets and databases, and do word processing.
