Who You Are:


As the Event Coordinator for Trash Butler, you will play a critical role in managing and executing the company's trade shows, networking events, and sponsorship opportunities. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Event Coordinator will oversee the event calendar, logistics, vendor relationships, and post-event evaluations to ensure a seamless and impactful event experience. This role will also support marketing efforts related to branding, social media, and lead generation, working collaboratively with the Marketing Manager to align all activities with the company’s strategic goals.

The goal of the Event Coordinator is to enhance Trash Butler's visibility, build strong industry relationships, and generate measurable ROI through well-organized and impactful events.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 


1. Event Planning and Execution:

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute a variety of events, including trade shows, networking events, sponsorship engagements, and internal company events.
  • Manage event schedules, venue selection, vendor relationships (as needed), travel logistics, shipping logistics and event-day execution.
  • Ensure all events align with Trash Butler’s brand image and strategic objectives providing all needed materials and support tools for each.

2. Trade Show and Sponsorship Management:

  • Organize trade show participation, including booth setup, collateral, staffing, and logistics.
  • Identify and evaluate potential sponsorships or event opportunities to maximize visibility and industry impact and in support of our Sponsorship Program.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create pre- and post-event strategies to drive attendance and engagement.

3. Budget and ROI Tracking

  • Manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and maximizing ROI.
  • Implement post-event evaluations to track success metrics, identify opportunities for improvement, and support in the measurement ROI.

4. Networking and Relationship Building:

  • Build and maintain relationships with industry partners, vendors, and event organizers.
  • Act as a key point of contact for events to foster positive relationships with event coordinators

5. Marketing Collaboration:

  • Partner with the Marketing Manager to develop promotional materials and campaigns supporting events.
  • Contribute to content creation for social media, email campaigns, and other marketing channels to promote events.
  • Monitor social media channels during events for real-time engagement and updates.
  • Review reputation management and follow process to ensure positive brand awareness and presence.

6. Branding and Collateral Development:

  • Ensure all event materials, signage, and displays adhere to Trash Butler’s branding standards.
  • Coordinate with designers and vendors to create high-quality event collateral, such as banners, flyers, and giveaways.

 

Position Requirements:


  • Proven experience (1+ year) in event coordination, trade show management, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in budget management and ROI tracking for events.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working with vendors, contractors, and external partners.
  • Familiarity with social media and marketing platform is a plus.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Event Management, Communications, or a related field preferred

  • Competitive base salary: $60,000 per year.
