Esports Stream Manager

Salary/Position Classification

• $15.00 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
• 9-12 hours per week
• 100% Remote Work Availability: No
• Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No

Purpose of Position

To stream the UND Esports twitch matches using OBS.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage the Esports twitch live stream: 1. Manage audio/visuals of the esports game that is streaming 2. Manage the audio of the Esports Broadcasters 3. Switch scenes between broadcasters, game load screen and game screen 4. Update match score in between games 5. Manage twitch chat while streaming - (Essential)
• Preparation before going live 1. Put up twitch stream in Varsity Esports Facility 2. Communicate with team captains to be in game lobby 3. Communicate with team captains and broadcasters if any issues arise during live stream - (Essential)

Required Competencies

• Ability to problem solve quickly with knowledge of streaming
• Ability to communicate effectively before the stream with both esports broadcasters and esports team captain

Minimum Requirements

• Knowledge of various esports games including: League of Legends, Valorant, Rocket League, Rainbow Six Siege, Overwatch 2, Call of Duty, Super Smash Brothers Ultimate, Counter Strike 2
• Previous experience with any streaming tool including OBS and/or Streamlabs
• Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of wireless audio devices used for streaming and how they interact with Streamlabs/OBS
• Knowledge of Visual Capture Devices including cameras and screen recorders
