The Digital Technology Program Management Office is currently searching for a seasoned professional in Project Management who works independently, develops project plans, schedules, and budgets for Digital Technology projects. 

** This individual can sit at any Collins domestic location or remote. **

What YOU will do:

  • Lead ERP implementations, overall business applications projects, and data mapping and transfer processes covering site divestitures, product move, and acquisitions.

  • Provide guidance to project team regarding data, processes and procedures ensure business continuity as systems change.

  • Partner with the data and platforms teams on application interfaces, data management and data archiving to support acquisitions and divestitures

  • Work closely with PMO on buyer requests, status, issues, risks, and schedule

  • Facilitate complex business process decisions that at times will span multiple functional areas

  • Provides solution support, working collaboratively with business partners and DT to complete projects.

  • Provide guidance and best practices on technical designs, environments, and application integration architecture  

  • Provide cross-functional solution analysis and recommendations for adding to or separating applications across Collins

  • Partner with service owners to evaluate bolt on applications, disposition their functionalities, and create roadmaps along with technical interface recommendations for separation, consolidation, or shut down activities

  • Participate in the TSA planning activities and execution to support acquisitions and divestitures partnering across all DT channels and teams (infrastructure, network, cyber, etc.)

Qualifications you must have:

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position (U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder).

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience

  • Must be willing and able to travel domestic and internationally 20-25% of the time

  • Experience working with SAP ERP Implementations across diverse modules with a technical background

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to perform well in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment

  • Ability to communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and articulate technical concepts and ideas

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and assignments simultaneously

  • Ability to understand business processes and bridge them to systems implementations. Own and drive process project schedules and deliverables that support the schedule. Identify and mitigate risks, close functional gaps, and ensure a successful, sustainable implementation.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home).  An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
