What You’ll Be Doing:
This supervisor role is responsible for supervising the Compliance Equipment and Device Behavior Teams. In this capacity, the individual is responsible for the complete and accurate execution of all compliance equipment responsibilities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Select, train, manage, coach, and develop high-performing team(s).
- Ensure personal and team accountability for complete, accurate, and timely execution of all Equipment responsibilities.
- Identify positive and negative trends and utilize data to make process adjustments accordingly.
- Leverage compliance systems, dashboards, and other tools to ensure on-time, accurate support for compliance needs.
- Ensure adherence to all SLAs, including but not limited to state-mandated repair/replace timelines.
- Support implementation of related rule changes to include leading process change and implementation efforts for areas of oversight.
- Resolve customer compliance equipment escalations while maintaining customer and state satisfaction.
- Proactively identify opportunities for streamlining team efforts, including identifying process redundancies, recommending automation opportunities and technology tools, and other best practices that improve the accuracy and efficiency of team efforts.
- Provide consistent feedback and development to all team members. Celebrate and reward individual successes. Utilize performance management steps, including critical conversations, performance improvement plans, and termination, to address individuals falling short of expectations of role.
- Serves as a role model for the Company Values and Standards of Behavior.
- As a people leader, effectively mentor, coach, and when necessary, enforce disciplinary action.
- Monitor and analyze device behavior data to identify irregularities or potential performance issues.
- Ensure effective tamper detection processes are in place, including timely review of alerts and appropriate follow-up actions.
- All other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of three years and preferred five or more years in a formal leadership/management role within one of the following professional areas is required: compliance, data reporting, government relations, operations, or other ignition interlock environment.
- College degree preferred
- Professional experience in project management and/or process/policy development experience a plus
- Foster trust and communication among immediate team and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize data, and identify process efficiencies and / or gaps.
- A high-level of accountability, adaptability, and the ability to multitask while remaining detailed oriented is required.
- Strong computer skills including but not limited to a high-level of experience using MS office (particularly Excel) and Power BI. Must also be willing and able to learn to use a variety of unique technology tools and systems required to support the Compliance Department.
- Occasional travel may be requested for business need.
