The Opportunity Â
Abt Global seeks a dynamic, creative Environmental Communications Analyst to help develop communications plans and materials for federal agencies, including U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.  Â
Key Roles & Responsibilities Â
- Develop strategic communication plans to guide messaging and stakeholder engagement
- Write Plain Language communication materials such as brochures, factsheets, infographics, and web copy for public audiences and hard-to-reach populationsÂ
- Collaborate with team of graphic designers, videographers, and writers/editors to develop compelling, engaging communication products on climate change, sustainability, and waste reduction topics
- Develop and manage social media content and email campaignsÂ
- Plan and implement stakeholder engagement activities such as workshops and training sessions, including virtual eventsÂ
- Support partnership programs by managing stakeholder relationships, developing resources, and supporting annual recognition eventsÂ
- Research technical issues and prepare written products for target audiencesÂ
What We Value
- Bachelorâs Degree + 3 years of relevant experience, or Masterâs Degree + 0 years of relevant experience
- Background in environmental science, communications, or related field; specialized expertise or training in climate change communications is preferredÂ
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skillsÂ
- Familiarity with Drupal, social media monitoring, or email marketing platforms preferred.Â
- Talent for creative problem solving Â
- Good organization skills and keen eye for detailÂ
- Ability to manage time well and work on multiple, concurrent projects
