Zayo is seeking an Enterprise Risk Analyst who will support the Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) team by assisting in maintaining Zayo’s compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of compliance, risk management, and governance frameworks, with the opportunity to gain deeper experience in these areas. The Enterprise Risk Analyst will work closely with the GRC Manager and other team members to ensure the smooth execution of GRC initiatives, including risk assessments, compliance monitoring, and audit coordination.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in conducting risk assessments and compliance monitoring to ensure adherence to internal and external standards.

  • Support the coordination and execution of internal and external audits, ensuring accurate documentation and timely responses.

  • Help maintain compliance metrics and risk indicators by gathering data and preparing reports for management.

  • Contribute to the development, review, and updating of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with evolving regulations.

  • Work with the GRC Manager and other departments to integrate risk management and compliance practices into business operations.

  • Assist in creating and delivering training programs focused on governance, risk, and compliance to employees.

  • Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes, assisting the team in updating the GRC framework as needed.

  • Support ongoing improvement initiatives within the GRC program to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and ensure tasks are completed to a high standard.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience) required.

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in governance, risk, or compliance roles required.

  • Experience with ServiceNow required.

  • Basic understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks (such as NIST, ISO, or SOX).

  • Experience with BI tooling preferred.

  • Proven experience in leveraging data to drive business decisions, with strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data sets to identify trends, insights, and actionable strategies.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and basic familiarity with GRC tools.

  • Eagerness to learn and grow in the GRC field.

Base Salary Range: $78,500 - $112,100 USD/annually, commensurate with experience.
