We have an exciting remote opportunity for an Enterprise Architect - Operations!

What You Will Do:

  • The Enterprise Architect, Operations position is a key SME responsible for helping map existing digital and business process, identify necessary process changes, develop technology roadmap to support process enhancements, develop guidance and governance for the operations space, and become a trusted partner to the business to act as a technology expert and advisor.

  • This role will drive end-to-end visibility of digital technology married to business processes and partner closely with business leads.

  • This key role will enable successful launches of digital capabilities for P&W Operations activities and organizations by developing clear enterprise level technical architectures and standards to define design, build, and sustainment of tools.

  • This individual will understand and take ownership of the process and interactions between major systems such as MES, PLM, ERP, and other foundational technology stacks in the IT/OT layer to create a holistic digital ecosystem.

  • This role will be expected to provide STRONG leadership, overall technical direction to the technology and business teams, and guidance to stakeholders based on enterprise standards.

  • Partner extensively with all parts of the Pratt & Whitney Operations community, to ensure implementation of solutions that serve to streamline the way we work – including but not limited to technical development, validation, technology transfer, and ongoing lifecycle management / support for our manufacturing, assembly, and quality operations.

  • Act as a thought leader, operating across various Technical Platform Areas and provide guidance on a global scale regarding Industry Best Practices for Operations.

  • Demonstrated experience in process mapping, re-architecting, and optimization for digital transformation of major industrial, manufacturing, or A&D.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Systems and 10+ years of experience in Information Technology that includes acting as a senior solution architect for major systems and/or an enterprise architect, leading large scale technology implementations, and experience as an enterprise level business/process/technology architect; OR an Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Systems and 7+ years of experience in Information Technology that includes acting as a senior solution architect for major systems and/or an enterprise architect, leading large scale technology implementations, and experience as an enterprise level business/process/technology architect.

  • Manufacturing Process and Assembly Operations experience.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Knowledge and experience working in Agile / Scrum teams, including daily standups, retrospectives, demos/reviews.

  • Experience with modern architecture frameworks and designs that support successful digital technology insertion.

  • Ability to provide strategic technical leadership and lead by influence the creation of long-term strategy (e.g., more than 3 years) roadmaps in a virtual environment.

  • Possess exceptional written and oral communication skills, can develop clear, concise, and logically written business communications, as well as deliver recommendations.

  • Proven track record communicating within cross-functional team of technical resources, QA, and engineers.

  • Demonstrated effectiveness working in a complex, service-intensive, deadline-driven environment.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home).

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
