Team Description:

The Infrastructure - Reliability team helps engineers design and keep promises in production. We operate three primary teams that offer preventative measures, detection, and corrective measures, including central testing, observability, and incident command. We utilize SRE roles in various capacities to achieve these goals, both centralized and embedded. We build products to help teams be fantastic service owners.

Reliability lives within the Platform Product Group. The mission of the Platform Product Group is to build a trusted, scalable, and compliant platform to maximize velocity, efficiency and quality. They build the foundations that can be used by multiple products and teams at Coinbase so that users can have a consistent and high-quality experience. 

What you’ll be doing (ie. job duties):

• Build and manage engineering teams, to guide the development of features, services, and infrastructure.
• Coach your direct reports to have a positive impact on the organization and support their career growth.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, product managers, and senior leadership to translate our vision into a tangible roadmap on a quarterly basis. Break down complex projects into smaller pieces and lead the iterative design and implementation process.
