THE POSITION
Naehas is seeking to hire a dynamic Engineering Manager who will provide strong technical leadership within the team and keep engineers busy and excited working towards the business goals.
Requirements
SKILLS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field, and 5-plus years of related experience
- Architecture Design and Review: Design and continuously refine cloud architectures to support the high scalability and ultra-low latency API requirements of the Fulfillment product in Naehas. Ensure architectures are optimized for large-scale systems and are capable of handling the intensive data and transactional load typical for clients.
- Development and Deployment: Develop and maintain micro-services using Spring Boot Java, ensuring they meet the standards for ultra-low latency and high scalability required by financial services clients. Implement and oversee robust CI/CD pipelines in Gitlab/Jenkins that facilitate rapid deployment and seamless integration across various AWS technologies.
- Security and Compliance: Enforce stringent security protocols and compliance measures that meet the specific regulatory requirements of financial institutions.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor system performance metrics closely using tools like CloudWatch, NewRelic, X-ray etc, identifying any deviations or potential bottlenecks in real-time. Optimize AWS resource usage and application performance to maintain the required service levels for throughput and latency.
- Mentoring and Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of engineers in best practices for developing high-performance applications on Cloud Cluster, with a focus on building knowledge in areas like microservices architecture and GenAI for data analytics. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, encouraging team members to experiment with new Cloud/AI technologies that can enhance the product's capabilities.
- Problem Solving and Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to cloud infrastructure and microservices architecture, ensuring minimal disruption to client operations.
