As the IT Workplace Engineer, you will serve as the Site Lead who is responsible for running the technology landscape for the New York and Stamford office locations. You Are:
- The primary IT point of contact for the New York and Stamford office locations.
- Coordinating all technology operations, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and business needs.
- A team player as you partner with Real Estate to assist and coordinate corporate office improvement plans.
- Successful with building and maintaining strong relationships with business partners and end users.
- Proactive in monitoring and managing report metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Open to develop and implement standard methodologies for IT support and workplace operations.
- Responsible for ensuring meetings set up, including off-site events and board of directors’ meetings.
You Will:
- Lead multidisciplinary teams to execute workplace initiatives that support the overall enterprise strategy.
- Thoroughly understand business lines to determine technology opportunities, propose proactive recommendations, and implement plans.
- Document, lead and govern process & procedures while meeting or exceeding audit and other controls.
- Take ownership of technical issues with a security approach.
- Establish key business relationships within these office locations to ensure they have the fundamental knowledge of business processes
You Have:
- Minimum of 5 years of technical experience supporting end-users.
- Minimum of 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Lead and run the executive support team to maintain high service levels.
- Strong understanding of privileged access rights and Active Directory
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with partners.
- Excellent written skills to document and introduce new product technologies to the business.
- Strong technical knowledge of IT systems, conferencing devices, and workplace technologies. Experience with the following:
- Hardware: Laptop (Lenovo and Apple), AWS Workspaces, Mobile devices, Peripheral Support (monitors, docking stations)
- Operating System: Microsoft OS, MacOS, iOS, Android OS
- Software: ServiceNow, JIRA, Nexthink, Microsoft M365, Diligent
- AV Technologies: Video conferencing systems (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc.) etc.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to lead teams and multiple priorities effectively.
- Flexibility to travel between Guardian hub locations as needed. Preferred ITIL, LEAN Six Sigma
Location & Travel:
- The primary location for this position is based in New York (10 Hudson Yards) and the ability to travel to the other Guardian hub locations (Stamford, CT; Holmdel, NJ; Bethlehem, PA). Occasional travel to outer state for Board of Director meetings when applicable.
- The 25% Travel required for this position
Salary Range:
$80,940.00 - $132,975.00The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
