HII Mission Technologies is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Software Engineer 2 to join our dynamic team. As a Software Engineer 2, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, testing, and deployment of software solutions that address critical national security challenges. You will collaborate with a team of talented engineers, scientists, and subject matter experts to deliver high-quality, innovative software products. What You Will Do

• Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions.
• Conducts multidisciplinary research and collaborates with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software. Determines computer user needs
• Analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls
• Prepares operating instructions
• Designs and develops compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems.
• Ensures software standards are met.

What You Must Have

• 2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 0 years experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience.
• Candidate must have experience creating and / or reworking system workflows. 
• Candidate must have experience with technical documentation including design documents, process flows, and architecture diagrams.
• Candidate must have experience hosting design authority meetings to review and approve technical solutions ensuring they align with compliance and best practices. 
• Candidate must have experience working with ServiceNow 
• Candidate must have a U.S. Citizen
• Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance

Bonus Points For Having!

• Experience with ServiceNow architecture principles and industry standards, ensuring all designs meet regulatory requirements.

Adequate visual acuity and manual dexterity for meeting the requirements Software Engineer family.
