Responsibilities
- Installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting for the DHMS software on devices; this is to support testing events, exercises, etc. where end users are interacting with the software on a virtual machine, mobile device, etc.
- Provide Fixed Facility Government Approved Lab (FFGAL) Support and Daily Operations
- Support FF-GAL lab where equipment is tested to ensure compatibility) through new system intake, system upgrades, patches, remediation, break/fix support, system maintenance, networking, and system decommissioning
- Supporting, maintaining, and interfacing with workstations, servers, testers, and other administrators within the FFGAL
- Provide System Engineer, Network Engineering skill sets to new projects, new medical devices and capabilities
- Ensure system diagrams and SOP’s capture new assets, servers, and PPS connections to mirror production and pre-production environments.
- Capture assets, servers, and PPS connections within the FFGAL
- Validate current FFGAL SOP Processes and update as needed as part of process improvement
- Work with vendors for installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of FFGAL Assets
- Perform FFGAL Virtual Machine check-ups
- Perform FFGAL physical asset check-in
- Perform FFGAL asset patching
- Participate in the Medical Registry System (MRS) application (and other systems as needed) implementation and testing
Qualifications
- Experience with AVHE Labs (Citrix) and Service Now – beneficial
- Knowledge of MHS Genesis Storefront
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
- 7 years Experience
Clearance:
- U.S. Citizen
- Must-Have Active Secret Clearance
- Must have a CAC card
Location:
- Must be local to the DC area to do medical device configuration

Pay Range:
- The pay for this position ranges from $55,730 to $103,500
- The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location
- Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as bonuses
