About the Role
We are seeking a highly technical CRM Marketing expert to lead the onboarding, growth, and overall usage of our email & push messaging systems for our whitelabel CRM offering. In this role, you will enable our internal & external partners to effectively manage lifecycle email & push initiatives. You will collaborate closely with key stakeholders across Retailer Marketing, Business Development,Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Creative teams to strategize & implement design systems and manage the technical CRM enablement that drive growth. The Instacart marketing team is highly analytical, moves fast and is focused on delivering quantifiable results. Our CRM Marketing team develops and delivers billions of messages a year across the company’s owned channels (email, mobile push, SMS, and in-app).
About the Job
- Build and maintain the tooling and technical infrastructure for whitelabel CRM programs
- Administer, configure, and maintain the ESP and each individual workspace per program.
- Partner regularly with Eng on system integrity, efficiency, and troubleshooting.
- Create and monitor complex automations with static and dynamic target and content.
- Ensure whitelabel partners have the tools necessary to set up campaigns, tests, segmentation and complex personalization logic.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Creative, Partner Marketing, Business Development, Product, Engineering, and Data Science to deliver impactful programs for our partners based on their unique needs.
About You
Minimum Qualifications
- 5-6 years of hands-on experience executing CRM programs, including backend setup and ongoing technical implementations and maintenance across systems
- Experience leveraging a complex marketing automation/CRM system like Braze, ExactTarget, or Responsys
- Deep expertise in customer segmentation, list management, deliverability and CAN-SPAM laws
- Experience with data-driven marketing and building programs that drive incremental results
- Exceptional project management skills and experience managing multiple competing projects/deadlines with extremely strong attention to detail
- Customer obsessed and a creative thinker; you care deeply about the customer experience
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills
- Ability to effectively coordinate complex projects with multiple stakeholders through strong communication skills and ability to influence overall strategy
Preferred Qualifications
- Braze experience is a plus
- Fluency in HTML/CSS to debug emails ahead of each send
- Experience in the on-demand economy a bonus
- Comfortable with learning new technologies
