Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION
As an Energy Engineer I at CLEAResult you will play a key role in implementing utility funded energy efficiency programs, identifying new efficiency opportunities, calculating energy savings for projects, and supporting other efforts to increase energy efficiency in the markets we serve. There will be opportunities for you to work on cross-team projects for our programs across North America. As CLEAResult continues to grow quickly, success in this position will lead to increased responsibility and opportunities for you.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Completing project reviews for commercial and industrial projects throughout the company to quantify savings for 35+ utility programs
- Supporting development of company-wide engineering best-practices
- Supporting engineering tool development using MS Excel and other software
- Preparing draft reports such as measurement and verification plans and billing analysis results
- Ensuring current energy efficiency projects reflect federal and state energy codes
- Analyzing new energy efficiency technologies for potential adoption as measures in our programs
- Contributing to the development of proposals and other business development opportunities
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferably mechanical or electrical discipline
- 0 to 2 years of experience with energy efficiency consulting or energy program implementation
- Interest and ambition to work in the fast-paced energy efficiency industry
- Experience developing and reviewing energy savings calculations
- Excellent technical and non-technical writing and communication abilities
- Ability to analyze technical issues and convey conclusions to diverse technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to QC work and find errors or misrepresented values and information
- Enjoys working in a dynamic setting with technical and non-technical team members
- Organized and detail-oriented with ability to think critically
- Travel up to 10%
Compensation Range
$59,500.00 - $89,200.00Currency
