The Workplace Experience, Employee Relations Specialist is a confidential position that will be an integral member of ActBlue’s People & Culture team and will report to and work closely with the Workplace Experience Director, a senior leader.
In this role, you will aid and facilitate employee relations processes for efficiency and compliance, in service of our organization. You will also be responsible for providing support to the workplace experience function as needed, leading key projects and processes including employee engagement, onboarding, exit interviews, leaves, and investigations.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Serve as the initial contact and liaison for intake and assessment of employee complaints.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
- Update and maintain employee handbook as needed, ensuring compliance with union contracts and evolving expectations.
- Conduct exit interviews to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
- Oversee multi-state leave management processes, including FMLA, disability, and other leaves of absence.
- Manage the employee accommodation request process, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and organizational policies.
- Assist managers and employees in navigating performance management by providing guidance and support throughout the process.
