About the Team:
The Legal team at Relativity Space is responsible for identifying and managing risks across the organization to ensure Relativity is adequately protected through its rapid growth. Our legal team manages intellectual property, contracts, and ensuring compliance, among other responsibilities. Unique to Relativity’s fast-paced startup environment, this team is given the opportunity to work across many teams to support Relativity's ambitious goal of building the next great launch company.
About the Role:
While the position is a hybrid role preferred in our Long Beach, California locations, candidates within commutable distance to our Cape Canaveral, Florida and Stennis, Mississippi physical locations are encouraged to apply. A fully remote option is not available with this role. Candidates must be open to occasional travel to sites as needed.
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee relations issues, including grievances, disputes, and complaints.
- Partner closely with the People Team on any and all employee relations issues that arise, including but not limited to employee misconduct, performance issues, work environment concerns/complaints.
- Conduct thorough investigations into employee concerns/complaints, including complaints via the anonymous ethics/whistleblower hotline, ensuring confidentiality, impartiality and proper ER case management.
- Promote open communication and positive employee relations through proactive initiatives and programs, including mediation and grievance and dispute resolution.
