UVMMC - Out of State Remote Worker
Job Summary:
The Employee Health Plan Pharmacist is a member of the Network Department of Pharmacy. In this role, the Employee Health Plan Pharmacist assists in the operation of the UVM Health Network employee health plan prescription drug benefit including formulary and utilization management functions. The pharmacist will identify cost-savings opportunities and develop mechanisms to improve cost-effective medication use that is clinically appropriate and relevant in the employee health plan and other self-funded employer groups, as applicable.
Education:
A Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) from an ACPE-accredited college or university is required.
Pharmacist licensure in Vermont or New York is required.
Completion of a pharmacy residency or commensurate experience preferred.
Completion of a PGY1 Managed Care Pharmacy Residency is preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a hospital or health-system pharmacy environment.
