Department Overview

Cleint's Marketing and Communications department is responsible for the planning, development and execution of strategies, tactics and customer communications that drive positive customer experiences and/ or participation with client's products and program offerings. This includes communications for service planning, safety and emergency preparedness, residential and business rate education, energy efficiency, income qualifying programs, clean energy, transportation electrification, decarbonization and a variety of other initiatives designed to help customers understand their service and achieve their sustainability goals.

Position Summary

This role is responsible for crafting and executing marketing strategies to boost awareness and participation in cleint's resiliency and energy storage programs. Key responsibilities include developing a marketing plan aligned with company goals and implementing outreach strategies for customer programs that support energy storage and resiliency. Significant coordination with internal partners, external vendors, and stakeholders is required to ensure alignment, reconcile feedback, and provide ongoing support throughout the go-to-market and reporting phases.

You will collaborate closely with line-of-business product and program managers, Customer Experience and Insights, Customer Contact Centers, and external marketing and advertising agencies to implement best-in-class marketing campaigns and customer communications that meet business objectives and enhance customer experience.

Client offers several resiliency programs designed to support innovative and reliable energy solutions. These programs provide financial assistance to customers who experience frequent power outages, both planned and unplanned, to help them acquire backup power options when needed. Programs include the Generator Battery and Rebate Program, Permanent Battery Storage Rebate Program, Backup Power Transfer Program and Residential Storage Initiative. These programs can be managed in-house or by local third parties.

Responsibilities:

Marketing specific

  • • Develop and implement a marketing plan to promote Resiliency programs, including strategies, channels, messaging, and tactics.
  • • Review and provide feedback on lead generation for external solutions providers like contractors and distributors.
  • • Communicate activities and deliverables to internal stakeholders and recommend improvements as needed.
  • • Coordinate project timelines and deliverables with project managers and optimize plans for roll-out.

Cross-functional Coordination

  • • Provide guidance for the development of various creative outputs, including advertising, direct-to-customer marketing, sales presentations, turn-key communications, collateral, and web updates.
  • • Collaborate with Marketing and Communications partners to create campaign and tactical briefs for external agencies that align with marketing plans. Ensure that briefs are consistent with program and messaging strategies.
  • • Assist in the creation and editing of presentations and materials used for strategic planning.
  • • Work closely with business partners to align outreach to desired program goal attainment through campaign development and execution.

Data-Driven Campaign Management and Reporting

  • • Analyze campaign metrics and recommend optimizations to meet goals.
  • • Establish data requirements for effective targeting with external agencies.
  • • Ensure timely delivery of communications through prioritization and information-sharing.
  • • Provide ongoing and ad hoc reports as needed by management.
  • • Update senior leadership on program outreach status.

Qualifications

Minimum:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience

• 5 years of experience managing the development and delivery of marketing materials, defining strategic objectives, setting metrics, and measuring performance

Desired:

• Exceptional critical thinking skills to reach successful outcomes in ambiguous and dynamic situations.

• Demonstrated project management skills.

• Experience in Consumer marketing

• Strong written communication skills with ability to write content for marketing and communication materials, and business presentations.

Position Summary

The contractor is responsible for the creative development, implementation and ongoing support of client’s customer marketing initiatives with a focus on a solar and battery storage program for income qualified customers. This role will work closely with Marketing Strategists and trusted creative agencies in the identification of product and/or program messages, target audiences, tactical plans and provide the necessary creative support to achieve the product and/or program goals. In this role, the contractor will be responsible for writing and executing on creative briefs in partnership with advertising agencies and other external vendors to manage, design, and execute multi-channel. The contractor, in partnership with the Marketing Strategist, will track and analyze campaign performance metrics and continually re-evaluate campaign performance to optimize metrics.

Responsibilities

  • Develop creative briefs, campaigns, creative reviews, internal reviews, creative production and coordination of all creative needs across key business products and programs.
  • Day-to-day creative agency contact; including scope-of-work, role of engagement, priorities and deliverables, evaluations, tracking against milestones, managing budgets and resource optimization.
  • Develop innovative ways to use marketing communications (print, web, multimedia and social media tools) to foster collaboration and communication across all levels of the organization and the communities we serve.
  • Collaborate with the Media Manager and creative agencies to ensure both cost and operational efficiencies are achieved across all campaigns.
  • Keep up to date on industry trends and developing marketing technologies along with segmentation and targeting principles.
  • Provide communication consulting, strategy development and implementation services to assigned internal clients.
  • Manage day-to-day aspects of projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget, high-quality deliverables and Plan/client satisfaction.
  • Secure timely estimate/proposal/change order approvals if working with an outside agency.

Qualifications Minimum:

Description:

We are seeking a results-oriented Email Marketing Program Lead to oversee the execution and optimization of email nurture programs while leading a key initiative to transition from traditional nurture workflows to triggered email workflows. This role combines expertise in email marketing, data-driven decision-making, and marketing automation to elevate our customer engagement and drive measurable outcomes across the customer journey.

Key Responsibilities

Nurture Campaign Management

  • Execute personalized email nurture campaigns that align with audience needs and business objectives.
  • Optimize existing nurture workflows to increase engagement, conversions, and retention.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align messaging with overall marketing strategy.

Transition to Triggered Workflows
