Where you'll work

This is a remote-friendly role with flexibility to work from home. Ideal candidates are located in Central or Eastern Time Zone.

What You’ll Do

  • Support Shopify merchants with advanced ecommerce tracking, focused on behavior analytics.
  • Provide expert technical support to internal teams and external partners related to ecommerce tracking.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve tracking discrepancies across platforms like Google Tag Manager, Shopify backend, GA4, and Facebook Business Manager.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement tracking strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Continuously monitor and optimize tracking performance.
  • Document best practices, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Provide training and support as needed.

Who You Are

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in ecommerce behavior analytics tracking.
  • Strong proficiency in Google Tag Manager, Shopify backend, GA4, and Facebook Business Manager.
  • Solid understanding of ecommerce tracking principles with a focus on behavioral analytics.
  • Technical skills including JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Experience analyzing large datasets.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to continuously improve.

Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check, as we are dedicated to providing a safe and secure work environment for all Buxton stakeholders.

Compensation

The Targeted Base Salary Range for candidates located in the U.S. is $55,000 to $70,000 USD.

 

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to experience, specialized skills, internal alignment and a candidate’s home base. Depending on the position offered, other forms of compensation in addition to base pay may be provided as part of a total compensation package, including eligibility to participate in a bonus plan.
