Stellar Virtual was founded in 2019 with one school in Texas. We serve parents of K-12 students, unhappy with their current school, or needing an at-home/flexible learning environment. Today, Stellar Virtual has grown to six schools across three states: Texas, Arizona, and Indiana. Stellar Virtual is committed to going above and beyond for our virtual families.

Technology Aspect

Position Overview
Stellar Virtual seeks a dynamic and dedicated Elementary Teacher to deliver high-quality, engaging instruction in a virtual setting. The ideal candidate will inspire and support students in grades K-5, fostering a love for learning while ensuring their academic, social, and emotional growth. This position is remote, requiring Arizona residency and a valid Arizona teaching certificate.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with Arizona state standards and the Stellar Virtual curriculum.
- Utilize online tools and resources to create interactive, differentiated, and inclusive learning experiences.
- Monitor and support students' progress through formative and summative assessments, adapting instruction as needed.
- Build strong relationships with students and families to promote a positive and collaborative learning environment.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students on their performance and progress.
- Offer individualized support to address diverse learning needs, including special education and gifted students.
- Work closely with colleagues, including grade-level teams and support staff, to ensure consistent and effective instructional practices.
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians through emails, conferences, and the virtual learning platform.
- Participate in professional development opportunities and team meetings.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of virtual instructional practices and resources.
- Adhere to all policies, procedures, and deadlines established by Stellar Virtual and the Arizona Department of Education.

Education & Certification Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or a related field.
- Valid Arizona Elementary Teaching Certificate.
