Job Description SummaryAs an education program leader, you are responsible for collaboratively designing, implementing, and evaluating leadership educational programs within a healthcare partner’s setting. You oversee the delivery of GEHC training to healthcare professionals and staff, assess educational needs, manage program budgets, and partner with stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Leads voice of customer research and analysis to support content development for leadership training programing.

  • Drives growth in customer participation in training

  • Cultivates strong connections between the healthcare partner, region and global training leaders to ensure the knowledge, skills and behaviors are incorporated to into learning experiences

  • Develops effective programs, execute programs, embed sustainability of learning, and demonstrate the learning ROI value with regular reported metrics and measures.

  • Partners with the healthcare partner’s talent management team on leadership course development to ensure alignment.

  • Monitoring program effectiveness through data collection and analysis, making necessary adjustments to curriculum and delivery methods based on feedback. 

  • Reports on applicable health care partner training metrics, and drives action plans where necessary

  • Clearly communicates program status, issues, risks, plans, etc. to senior management

  • Manages budgets and contracts associated with program(s) or initiative(s) as applicable

  • Maintains effective working relationships with peers and vendors to seamlessly integrate the program area into the overall strategic objectives and activities of the organization

  • Coordinates program support activities, including the development of internal and external communications, establishing roadmaps and benchmarks, requirements gathering, development, implementation, testing and training plans, and adoption

Required Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree
  • At least 5 years of leadership experience in Learning & Development
  • Experience developing and delivering customer trainings
  • Project and program management experience
  • Develop and manage timelines
  • Dealing with ambiguity and charting a path forward
  • Collaborate cross-functionally in a highly matrixed environment, build relationships, and influence without direct authority
  • Familiarity and experience with digital learning tools and technologies
  • Experience in leader standard work - standardized operations, creative actions, standard op-mechs
  • Proven leadership in driving high impact projects in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders and high visibility
  • Experience with leading matrixed teams to meet business priorities
  • Strong communication and team-building skills. Must be highly skilled at written and verbal communication both inside the company and with external customers

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $108,800.00-$163,200.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). GE HealthCare offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, and tuition reimbursement.
