Key Human Services, a subsidiary of Keystone Human Services, is currently seeking a full time Education Consultant to join our team of professionals in making a positive difference in the lives of our neighbors and the community.
The Education Consultant trains and educates staff to become successful and effective members of the team. This position is the primary contact for employees regarding education and will coordinate, implement, and document all employee educational programs within the assigned service area.
Responsibilities Include:
- Develop, maintain, and distribute a course listing of educational opportunities, including opportunities within and outside the organization
- Processes and submit education records and registrations to external providers
- Collaborate with team to identify educational needs, develop educational programs, and evaluate program effectiveness
- Coordinate, schedule, and present educational material and trainings as necessary, including new employee orientation
- Organize, document, and maintain all provisions of educational programs (i.e., equipment, locations, sign-in sheets, evaluation forms and instructional materials)
- Prepare and distribute educational aids such as instructional materials, handouts, evaluation forms and visual aids
- Maintain licensures and certificates
- Oversee and maintain employee education records and files and ensures that all data entry is current within designated timeframes
Job Details/Benefits:
- Full time, Exempt position
- Hybrid position, working remotely and out of the Southington and Rocky Hill offices 3-4 days per week
- $23.00 per hour

Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent and three years of related experience in the adult education field or Associate degree and two years of related experience in the adult education field
- Possess a broad knowledge of the human services field in areas such as developmental disabilities, licensing regulations, business administration, and personnel management
- Ability to communicate both orally and in writing and to be able to read, interpret and apply written information
- Intermediate computer skills, including the use of software and web-based systems
- Valid driver’s license and daily access to privately maintained and insured vehicle
- Successful completion of the pre-employment process, including motor vehicle record and criminal background checks
