EDI Support Specialist

California - Remote Office

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the EDI Support Team Inbox. 

  • Ensure that required documents and details for new feeds are provided and then assign out to the EDI Developer team. 

  • Serve as an expert consultant on EDI team processes. 

  • Liaise between sales, implementation, and finance departments on behalf of EDI team. 

  • Coordinate and follow up on projects to completion. 

  • Provide project support to the EDI development team when necessary. 

  • Participate in kick-off calls with carriers and clients when needed. 

  • Conduct EDI feed rollovers and modifications. 

  • Process feed cancellations.

Competencies:

  • Strong organization, oral and written communication skills required. 

  • Must be able to enforce deadlines both internally and externally while providing professional and unwavering customer service. 

  • Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision and administer multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously required. 

  • Proficient understanding of the following preferred: flat (fixed) files, ANSI 834 files, .csv files, HIPAA Standards, Companion guides and Account Structure documents. 

  • Knowledge of EDI concepts – including File Transfer Protocols, PGP Encryption and Transmission methods, File testing methods, Data Reconciliation processes. 

  • Proficient computer skills including Google and Microsoft applications (f.e. - Word, Excel, and G-mail) . 

  • Basic understanding of coding language and functions is preferred

  • Possess analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail required. 

  • Technically savvy with an eagerness to learn. 

Qualifications:


Education and/or Experience - College degree desired and two to three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in project coordination.

The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan. Pay Range: $53,000.00 - $70,000.00
