Your role in our mission

Innovation begins with design and leads to solutions that help our clients deliver better health and human services outcomes. In this position you will:

  • Help design, develop, install, test and document applications software — including server, client and web components
  • Play a role in the design, documentation and delivery of technical architecture solution components
  • Build the connections between application architects and developers to ensure the accuracy of design requirements and deliver ROI for clients 
  • Focus on the details as you help define and develop project requirements, functional specs and application solution designs for clients using the proper development methodologies and industry standards
  • Play a role in developing technical documentation and test plans, and support integration and deployment
  • Be part of a team of software developers who are helping advance Gainwell and client objectives

What we're looking for

  • Knowledge of appropriate programming languages, operating systems, hardware and software, with web service development knowledge preferred
  • Knowledge of basic software design, development and implementation methodologies 
  • Basic data analysis and software testing skills to create requirements and test modifications and enhancements 
  • A team player with strong, effective written and oral communication skills with clients and more senior leaders
  • Team player who can collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues and leaders in a remote environment

The pay range for this position is $46,600.00 - $66,600.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
