Associate Director, Engineering - End to End Start Up Readiness Lead

Description:

Global Engineering Solutions (GES) is responsible for delivering capital projects with innovative technology and engineering solutions for our customers to reach the required business outcomes. With our extensive range of facilities and environments, our Engineers have opportunities to impact diverse areas within the Large Molecule, Small Molecule/API, and Animal Health spaces, including Biological, Chemical, Automation, Capital Projects, Maintenance, Safety, Process Development, Technical Services, Utilities and Validation. A key function of how we deliver these solutions is our End to End focus. The End to End Solutions group is comprised of Business Integration, GES MPS, CQV (Commissioning, Qualification, and Validation), and Start Up. The Start Up function partners with Capital Projects in three phases. 1- Ensure robust estimating, planning, and resource modeling for the Post OQ or Equipment Turnover. 2 – Standing up Start Up Readiness activities and governance. 3 – Standing up Start Up Execution and Governance. These three focus areas enable the team to realize value from the asset on time and on budget.

Under the direction of the Director, End to End Start Up the Associate Director will work with the GES integrated project teams (Business Integration, Technology Center, Global Delivery, Project Business Support, End-to-End Solutions) as well as key stakeholders including Technical Operations, Operations, Supply Chain, and Quality partners across all business units to coach, support, and train for all aspects of Start Up readiness and execution. The Associate Director will also navigate connections to other projects, functions, COE’s, COP’s to fully take advantage of the vast or Company enterprise.

The role will have significant exposure to the our Manufacturing Division Capital Management Process, GES Asset Delivery Process, and shape application of the Front-End Loading Design (FEL) phases through Start-up Readiness. Due to …
