We’re looking for a District Sales Manager to join our Cooper Lighting Solutions in Arizona or Colorado.

As a District Sales Manager you’ll be responsible for the strategic planning, execution, and management of the territory for Cooper Lighting Solutions including our manufacturer representative agents and our key partners. The successful District Manager will be an organized thought-leader that is capable of utilizing all Cooper Lighting programs, tools, and resources to work diligently to cultivate existing business with our key partners, while also collaborating with our local agent network to identify and develop new partnerships. The District Manager must also be team-oriented, creative, and maintain a consistent approach towards working with our manufacturer representatives in order to support through complex opportunities and challenges, resulting in rapid and efficient solutions.

What you’ll do
Build and develop lasting relationships that result in rewarding sales.
Lead your region with enthusiasm and passion for results.
Be at the forefront of supporting our agents in working to develop a comprehensive marketing budget designed to support the Cooper Lighting annual marketing and sales efforts with our channel partners.
Analyze and review sales data to formulate trends and opportunities in your region.
Your qualifications
Knowledge of how to work with manufacturer representative agencies
"Know How" in working with channel partners
BA degree or equivalent years of experience in the Lighting industry.
5+ years of experience managing agents in a multi-state sales territory
Able to travel 50 - 60% to visit with agents, end users, and to the Cooper Lighting HQ

What you’ll get in return…
Salary: $120,000 - $176,000 Base
Bonus: Target 35% Sales Incentive bonus
