Energy Solutions is currently seeking a full-time Distributed Energy Resources, Project Manager II to join our Distributed Energy Resources (DERs) department. As a member of the DERs department, you will assist with driving customer participation in programs that incentivize the adoption of various DERs including clean transportation, electric vehicle chargers, distributed solar, and demand response. These leading-edge energy technologies are critical in driving our nationâs progress toward a decarbonized grid, and you will play a material role in helping our team make this future a reality. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Â
- Overall direction, management, quality control and completion of project deliverablesâŻâŻÂ
- Developing and managing project budgets and tasks with minimal oversightâŻÂ
- Managing the design and implementation of multiple, medium-complexity projects and bringing them to conclusionâŻÂ
- Communicating project progress to management and clientsâŻâŻÂ
- Interacting with customers, clients, and external collaborators and serving as main point of contact for a clientâŻÂ
- Travel to potential customer sites and market actor businesses to build relationships for program participationÂ
- Tracking of industry trends and other market changes that impact DERsâŻâŻÂ
- Understanding program priorities and adjusting workload accordinglyÂ
- Continuously identify and develop process improvements and efficiencies; proactive recommendations for improvements, including suggesting solutionsÂ

Minimum Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree, preference being towards energy, engineering, environmental science or business Â
- A minimum of 5 years of work experience, may be a combination of work experience and graduate schoolÂ
- Strong writing and verbal communication skills Â
- Strong organizational and project management skills Â
- Extensive experience using Microsoft Office suiteÂ
- Excellent personal accountability and quality control practicesÂ
- Flexibility and adaptability regarding project focus or client needsÂ
- Demonstrated ability to âŚ
