About the role:

The Director of Workplace Experience and Security Operations is responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of the Fetch Workplace experience including physical spaces and remote working solutions, ensuring they align with Fetch’s values and business objectives. This role will lead a team to deliver exceptional employee experiences, drive operational and financial efficiency, and ensure the safety and security of all Fetch employees.

Scope of responsibilities:

Workplace Experience and Strategy:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive workplace strategy that supports both on-site and remote work models
  • Create engaging and inspiring workspaces that prioritize employee well-being, productivity, and collaboration
  • Oversee the design, construction, and renovation of office spaces, ensuring they meet the needs of a hybrid workforce
  • Manage workplace services such as food and beverage, facilities management, and security, ensuring seamless delivery for both on-site and remote employees.

Security Operations:

  • Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive security programs, including access control, surveillance, and emergency response plans for both physical and digital environments.
  • Oversee security operations, including visitor management and incident response, ensuring coverage for both on-site and remote employees.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and implement corrective actions
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and other external agencies to maintain a strong security posture.

Operational Excellence:

  • Optimize operational efficiency and reduce costs through innovative solutions and process improvements, while maintaining a robust security posture.
  • Oversee facility management, including maintenance, repairs, and capital projects, ensuring the safety and functionality of all workspaces.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and security regulations for both on-site and remote work environments.

Skills we believe you need for this position:

  • 10+ years of experience in Workplace and Security Operations, with 5+ years in management roles.
  • 5+ years leading and executing company-wide security strategies.
  • Proven skills in managing vendor relationships, including budgeting, contracts, and ensuring service-level agreements are met.
  • Hands-on expertise in managing real estate portfolios, including lease negotiations, space planning, and accommodating hybrid workforce needs while addressing security implications.
  • Experience driving compliance initiatives, such as SOC 2 certification.
  • Committed to fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation, ensuring organizational values are deeply integrated into the employee experience.

Compensation:

At Fetch, we offer competitive compensation packages to the exceptional folks we hire. The base salary range for this position is $170,000 - $200,000. We also offer all employees equity in Fetch, so that everyone can benefit from Fetch’s growth.
