Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Director of Workforce Strategy & Business Optimization to lead and implement comprehensive workforce strategies that drive performance, operational excellence, and continuous growth across our organization. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in aligning workforce and organizational needs, optimizing business performance, and driving large-scale initiatives at leading financial institutions. This leadership role demands a strategic thinker capable of gathering, analyzing, and presenting data-driven insights to inform critical decision-making. Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Operational Strategy, this role will drive operational performance and business transformation across the VillageMD enterprise.
How you can make a difference:
- Workforce Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute workforce strategies to align resource allocation with organizational objectives. Work with cross-functional leaders to ensure business goals are met and identify areas for improvement.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect, analyze, and interpret large data sets to derive actionable insights. Present findings to senior leadership to guide decision-making on workforce allocation, supplier strategy, and operational improvements.
- Process Optimization & Efficiency: Identify opportunities for process reengineering and continuous improvement, ensuring data accessibility and enhancing operational efficiency across all business units.
- Workforce Enablement: Lead initiatives to streamline operations, improve employee performance, and ensure business continuity. Manage forecasting, capacity planning, and performance monitoring to meet company objectives.
- Risk Mitigation & Financial Planning: Conduct risk analysis and develop strategies to mitigate potential issues. Oversee financial modeling and cost/benefit analysis to ensure resource optimization and budget adherence.
