WHAT YOU WILL DO
onX is seeking a Director of Vertical Marketing – Backcountry with a passion for outdoor adventure and a track record of driving growth. In this role, you will lead go-to-market efforts for the onX Backcountry app, shaping strategy, execution, and team leadership to expand our reach and engagement. As part of the Backcountry team, you will play a key role in delivering the best digital companion for human-powered recreation.
This is a unique opportunity to be part of a fast-growing, dynamic company focused on making a lasting impact in outdoor recreation. The role reports to the GM of Backcountry and requires cross-functional collaboration to drive meaningful results.
As an onX Director of Vertical Marketing, your essential job duties and responsibilities will look like:
- Develop & Execute a Growth Strategy – Partner with the GM of Backcountry, Product Manager, and CMO to define and implement a marketing strategy that attracts, engages, and retains users while driving business growth.
- Build & Lead a High-Impact Team – Recruit, mentor, and develop a best-in-class vertical marketing team that is data-driven, agile, and focused on continuous improvement.
