What’s unique about this role?

Responsible for designing, implementing, and managing global compensation and benefits programs that align rewards with organizational goals and support the attraction and retention of top talent. This role includes analyzing market data, managing job evaluation systems, modeling salary adjustments, and overseeing incentive and benefit programs. The position also involves leading a team focused on tactical and operational activities within compensation and benefits, with significant time dedicated to planning, prioritizing, and directing employee responsibilities.

 

What will this person do?

  • Global Compensation and Benefits Strategy: Develop and execute global compensation and benefits programs in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with the Chief People Officer to define and execute compensation and benefits strategies globally. Consult with C-Suite leaders on short-term and long-term strategies.
  • Compensation Program Leadership:
    1. Lead the design, implementation, and revision of all compensation programs, including base pay, incentive programs, policies, and procedures on a global scale.
    2. Conduct industry and market research to assess the company’s competitive position and develop recommendations for compensation policies and practices.
    3. Ensure compensation programs support talent attraction and retention.
  • Benefits Program Leadership:
    1. Research and analyze industry trends and employment market benefits to maintain competitive positioning.
    2. Design, manage, and communicate employee benefit plans in collaboration with brokers, including health, dental, vision, disability, and retirement plans.
    3. Develop and maintain benefits policies and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Advisory and Problem Resolution:
    1. Partner with leaders and PAC Managers to address and resolve salary, job classification, and compensation issues.
    2. Provide strategic insights and ad-hoc analyses to support business needs.
  • Team Leadership:
    1. Set goals and objectives for team members, fostering an environment of trust, open communication, and cohesive team effort.
    2. Motivate and inspire the team while ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Compliance and Vendor Management:
    1. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to compensation, benefits, and confidentiality.
    2. Select, facilitate, and maintain relationships with Total Rewards program vendors.
  • Policy and Process Oversight:
    1. Maintain job documentation, market analysis, and grading within the salary structure.
    2. Ensure policies, practices, and procedures are understood and followed by all stakeholders.

 

Bring your passion and together we will shine.  It would also be great if you have the following:

  • BA Degree preferred or commensurate experience
  • 8-10 years HR Compensation, Benefit, Total Reward expertise; technology sector a plus.

Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) is preferred

  • Strong data analysis skills and highly proficient with Excel
  • Effective communicator with the ability to present and facilitate training programs.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated, with sound judgment and high integrity.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
  • Skilled at prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • HR systems experience and the ability to interpret data, detect trends, and develop actionable recommendations.
  • International compensation and benefits experience.

 

Work Environment and Physical Demands

  • Duties are performed in a typical office environment while at a desk or computer table.  Duties require the ability to use a computer, communicate over the telephone, and read printed material, in a quiet and professional setting.
  • Duties may require occasionally working outside normal business hours (evenings and weekends).

As required by applicable pay transparency laws, Lighthouse complies with compensation disclosure requirements for roles that may be hired in locations under these requirements. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include a wide array of factors, including: your specific skills and experience, geographic location, or other relevant factors. The salary range for this position may be tailored to be lower or higher in different talent markets.

 

The expected pay for this role will range from $175,000 to $185,000 per year.  This role will be eligible to participate in an annual bonus or incentive program.
