Director Technology, Boundary App Engineering

Reports To: Senior Director, Enterprise Solutions

The Director Technology, Boundary App Engineering is responsible for all elements of Application Delivery ranging from solution architecture, design, development, testing and implementation. This role is a senior member of the Enterprise Solutions Leadership Team. This role will have overall accountability for delivering the right application development services, at the right time, at the right investment level. This leader will help define the Application Development Roadmap and Reference Architecture(s) for the Boundary Apps within Enterprise Solutions scope. The role will be expected to introduce the appropriate level of operational excellence processes and activities to ensure we deliver a high quality, consistent experience for our Team Members and Customers. You will be expected to challenge the status quo with an aim to spectacularly accelerate the pace at which IT delivers business capabilities. This role will have direct management responsibility for a team of approx. 50 associates Additionally, this position will have responsibility for maintaining an effective labor sourcing strategy, including using contract labor and/or outsource partners.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic vision and ensure that the Boundary Apps application portfolio provides a high degree of scalability, security, reliability, performance and availability.
• Develop and implement strategic technology roadmaps for the application portfolio to ensure that they are supporting the needs of the business and taking advantage of new technologies.
