Director, Tax

Summary Of The Position

The Director, Tax will manage the company's global income tax provisions, US and LATAM tax compliance, and various tax projects.

Roles & Responsibilities

 

  • Prepare and manage quarterly and annual tax provision calculations across US and international legal entities
  • Prepare and manage multi-states apportionment and calculate blended states tax rate
  • Manage the preparation of U.S. partnership tax returns and corporate consolidated income tax returns
  • Manage and review LATAM income and indirect tax compliance and planning
  • Prepare and manage quarterly Pillar 2 models, including transitional safe harbor and GLOBE modeling
  • Support Head of Tax in delivering various strategic tax planning, including strategies to manage impact related to global minimum tax, Pillar 1 and Pillar 2.
  • Lead and drive automation initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of tax processes
  • Prepare and review of quarterly estimated income tax payments
  • Perform tax research and analysis on special projects as needed
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of diverse U.S. tax legislations and U.S. GAAP financial statement reporting requirements for taxes.
  • Support country-by-country reporting and other cross border projects

     

Education And Experience Requirements
 

  • 10+ years of corporate income tax provision and compliance experience, ideally in a public account and corporate setting
  • Knowledge of SOX requirements for tax processes
  • Detail oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
  • Knowledge of tax automation tools, such as Alteryx or RPA
  • Experience with implementing OneSource Tax Provision system
  • Ability to communicate in Spanish and/or Portuguese a plus

Pay is based on market location and may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education and other job-related reasons. The annual salary range for this position is $230,000-$245,000.
